Magwitch

 Old and frail,
 His feet dangling with chain,
Groaning and moaning,
To free himself but in vain

Curls his fingers, eats his lips,
Clears his eyes, off the tears of pain that kills,
Brushes his brow from precipitation,
Works on the knots, that cut his wrists in frustration

'Help!' he cries towards the pin-point light,
Coming from the crack of the wooden house wide,
'Please help me!' he calls out to the air uncared,
Shattered he feels helpless and scared

Where have they brought him?
Those men with armed weapons,
Locked him inside for the crime,
Of stealing bread for his children

He shuts his eyes,
Anger melting to fear inside,
If they die those little children,
He would burn himself alive and kindle

Woolgathering

Of extraordinary things I dream,
From sunshine till twilight,
Colorful things, humans with wings,
Woolgathering till eyes shut tight

Bizarre and unusual daydreaming is,
Of anything far from reality,
Mother scolds, father growls,
Holler to keep away from fantasy

"Come to real World" she says,
Where hardworking, pain and rush resides,
"Keep away from reverie" he says,
I cry and shut my eyes

Is fantasy an evil word?
So, why are books so famous?
If stories were based on realities,
They wont have any status!

There are princesses, vampires, dragons,
All kinds in the fantasy world,
Only once I close my eyes,
It takes a moment to escape to that world

From the time I've learnt to read,
Books of faraway lands and people,
Word by word I imagined and felt free,
Were always appealing to me

My life is a fairy tale,
Never to destroy or fail,
I may not be worth human right now,
But imagination would take me to the peak, somehow.

I've never had true friends. I don't know what friendship means. There is a friendship I see in the movies - a concept that seems ...
